Sage Restaurant Group, the Denver-based independent restaurant group dedicated to providing innovative, playful, and locally tailored food and beverage experiences, is announced it raised $53,319 for national nonprofit organization, Children Of Restaurant Employees (CORE), through its Hungry To Help campaign throughout 2018. Additionally, the restaurant group announces its 2019 partner, World Central Kitchen.

Hungry To Help is a guest and associate donation program that supports the groups’ commitment to positively impacting the communities in which we live, work and play. Each year, a different charitable recipient is designated, and each restaurant under the Sage Restaurant Group umbrella works in different ways to assist that charity with its mission.

“To say we have been humbled by the support of Sage would be an understatement. This donation will help us support nearly 20 food and beverage service industry families that are navigating some of the most difficult times in their lives. The support from Sage has opened our eyes to the possibilities CORE has to grow and to how strongly our mission resonates with not only our industry but with the consumer as well,” says Lauren LaViola, CORE’s Executive Director.

In 2019, Sage Restaurant Group proudly partners with Chef José Andrés’ non-profit organization, World Central Kitchen. “World Central Kitchen provides relief to those in hunger, which is a mission we feel passionately about,” says Sage Restaurant Group COO, Brent Berkowitz. “It’s a wonderful organization, and we are thrilled to partner with them this year.”
