Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern will celebrate its 20th birthday on May 9 with a full day of activities and specials to say “thank you” to its loyal associates and the community.
“It is such an honor to celebrate our restaurants with the communities that have embraced us for 20 years,” says Gary Callicoat, founder of Rusty Bucket Restaurant & Tavern. “From the start, Rusty Bucket has been committed to breaking the mold for casual dining by providing high-quality food and upscale drinks served with our signature hospitality every time.”
On May 9, all locations will offer all-day happy hour deals, including half off pizzas and appetizers; $1 off beer, wine and cocktails; and $5 Juicy Lucy burgers.

The hand-picked blend of bourbon, which Callicoat and the leadership team select annually, begins with a robust aroma of caramel and chocolate and leads to cherry fruit notes with maple syrup, finishing with subtle peppermint with mint notes.
Rusty Bucket started as an idea between Callicoat and his two closest friends gathered around a bar. It was a vision of genuine hospitality; friendly service in a relaxed setting where everyone is welcome and appreciated. What started as one neighborhood tavern in 2002 in Dublin, OH, became a popular, sought-after addition in neighboring communities that have grown to 22 locations today.
Since 2002, Rusty Bucket has served 43,418,929 guests, celebrated 247,022 birthdays and sold 7,583,517 total orders of fried pickles. The company has donated over 10,000 coats in the annual coat drive since 2011 and hosted 414 different organizations through Rusty Bucket’s Dine n’ Donate program contributing $28,542.
