This spring, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. is rolling out a new adult-only wine milkshake that will give dessert-lovers and wine connoisseurs alike a reason to raise their glasses! Developed by Red Robin’s master mixologist Donna Ruch, the new Mango Moscato Wine Shake will be available through September 1 exclusively at Red Robin restaurants nationwide. Guests 21-and-over will enjoy this deliciously daring combination of Alice White Moscato and SKYY Infusions Moscato vodka with mango purée and creamy vanilla soft serve.
“The success of our über popular O’Fest Beer Shake inspired me to develop another playful twist on an American classic that raises the bar on our beverage innovation and captures our guests’ imaginations,” says Donna Ruch, Red Robin’s master mixologist. “With the Mango Moscato Wine Shake, we’ve capitalized on the growing popularity of wine and the Moscato varietal over the past few years, delivering fresh flavors and out-of-the-box mixology just in time for spring.”
In addition to the Mango Moscato Wine Shake, Red Robin is further establishing itself as the Gourmet Burger Authority by expanding its Finest premium burger line with two new offerings that feature handmade, half-pound Black Angus beef burgers made with superior toppings, cheeses, and sauces. The first is the appropriately named The D.G.B. (Damn Great Burger), made with oven-roasted tomatoes, savory roasted garlic aioli, and fresh arugula tossed in citrus olive oil dressing. The second is the Black & Bleu, a true knife-and-fork burger with sautéed, blackened Portobello mushrooms, grilled onions, house-made Bleu cheese sauce, and Bleu cheese crumbles with Dijon sauce. Both premium builds join Red Robin’s Smoke & Pepper Burger, which was introduced nationally in early November 2013.
“We are excited to reinforce our burger authority and expand Red Robin’s Finest premium burger lineup to feature The D.G.B. and the Black & Bleu burger,” says Denny Marie Post, Red Robin’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “The premium burger line is reflective of our culinary innovation and provides our loyal guests with greater variety and a more exceptional burger experience.”
Other seasonal offerings Red Robin crafted especially for spring include:
· Citrus Moscato Fizz – Guests 21-and-over can enjoy the refreshing blend of SKYY Infusions Moscato vodka with muddled citrus and soda. This cocktail is sure to fizz things up.
· Red’s Tavern Fries – These topped fries are smothered in Red’s Secret Tavern Sauce, gooey American cheese and bacon bits. Now that’s YUMMM-y!
· Chocolate Banana Chunk Bite-Tini - These perfectly poppable bread pudding bites are crispy on the outside with a soft, chocolate-y middle. Finished with a chocolate-banana drizzle.
