Quaker Steak & Lube announced today aggressive plans to expand into Texas. The company's expansion includes one new franchise restaurant in Waco and three corporate-owned locations in Dallas-Ft. Worth, specifically Carrollton, Plano, and North Dallas.

The first restaurant is set to open in Waco in the next month, Carrollton in September, and the remainder before the end of the year or in early 2013.

“We’re ready to stampede across the state and introduce Texans to our unique motorsports-themed dining experience," says John Longstreet, president and chief executive officer of Quaker Steak & Lube. “The expansion of The Lube in and around Dallas-Ft. Worth is another step in our plans to double our footprint over the next several years."

Quaker Steak & Lube has 50 locations open across 15 states and Canada. Beside the Texas expansion, the company plans to open 12 new restaurants this year in northern New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Virginia, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
