Punch Bowl Social, an experiential lifestyle brand, will open its first Florida location in Wynwood, on Saturday, February 29, with a grand opening event to celebrate the concept’s made-from-scratch food, creative craft beverages and signature social games. Ticketed guests will enjoy a grand opening party from 7 – 9 p.m. with a DJ set by Questlove, and the celebration will open to the public beginning at 9 p.m. All ticket proceeds will benefit a local Miami charity.
Punch Bowl Social Miami is an “eatertainment” destination located at 2660 NW 3rd Avenue, on the main floor of the Wynwood Garage with a façade designed by award-winning Faulders Studio architects.
Punch Bowl Social Miami highlights include:
Eat, Drink, Play: Founded by CEO Robert Thompson, Punch Bowl Social is best described as experiential food and beverage, pairing scratch-made dishes and craft beverages with social gaming in a design-forward environment. The menu includes dishes like the Superfood Grain Bowl, Shrimp Burger with Old Bay Mayo and Cocoa Dusted Carnitas Tacos. The craft beverage program features signature, shareable punches, a robust and creative nonalcoholic cocktail menu and local craft beers paired with an expansive selection of social games and activities.
Big Experience, Signature Design: Punch Bowl Social Miami will occupy 20,500 square feet across one building level. Social games include eight Duck Pin bowling lanes, two dart lounges, one private karaoke room, a photobooth, classic arcade games, foosball, ping-pong, pool table, shuffle board, Giant Jenga and board games. Multiple private event spaces are available for groups including the 360-Degree Bar, Holiday Lodge and Diner.
Colorado Mountain Lodge Meets Vibrant Arts District: Punch Bowl Social’s gathering spaces meld the design styles of mountain lodge, a touch of Victorian, mid-century modern with industrial details, plus a localized design element that honors the character and history of its unique site. The Miami location design gathers inspiration from the vibrant hues found in Wynwood and applies it to the Colorado-based brand’s mountain lodge elements. Punch Bowl Social brought the legendary art of the outside in by using reflective surfaces throughout the space. A rustic bear clay sculpture was constructed to make a mold for the custom stools at the bar, the restrooms feature a wallcovering featuring deer and rabbits skiing and Colorado beetle kill pine logs are utilized as signature community tables. The space celebrates Dottie Quintana and her Chevy Sedan with pops of teal throughout the space.
Tickets to the grand opening party are $30 each and include all food, games and a special craft beverage menu. Event tickets can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/MiamiMediaAlert
