Bourbon Bar is delighted to introduce Four Roses single barrel “Bourbon Bar Private Label” to its sophisticated repertoire.
Available exclusively at Bourbon Bar, located in Atlanta’s bustling Buckhead business district, this specialty spirit is the only of its kind in taste worldwide.
“This distinguished product was sourced, tasted, and privately selected by Bourbon Bar for Bourbon Bar,” says director of food and beverage Todd DeSilva. “We are extremely excited to present this exclusive offer to Atlanta’s finest bourbon drinkers.”
Hand-selected by DeSilva and aged for eight years and seven months, this 100-proof bourbon is served neat or on the rocks at $16 for two ounces.
Aromas boast notes of maple, dark cocoa, and light ash, while each sip exhibits flavors of dark, ripe fruits such as cherries, plums, and figs.
Created with 35 percent rye, 60 percent corn, 5 percent malted barley, and light, fruity yeast strains, the bourbon was palate picked by Four Roses master distiller Jim Rutledge as a superb barrel.
“Four Roses looks forward to a progressing partnership with Bourbon Bar, and is excited to introduce this unparalleled and truly distinctive single barrel bourbon,” Rutledge says.
Four Roses Distillery was named Whisky Magazine’s 2011 American Distiller of the Year and Bourbon of the Year No Age Statement (single barrel) as part of Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2012, an annual compilation of the world’s most comprehensive guide to whiskey.
The actual barrel from which the private label was bought and bottled will be on display at Bourbon Bar.
The Southern-inspired bar features a well-cultivated selection of American bourbon distillers, focusing on small-batch producers. In addition to more than 70 bourbon offerings, guests can sip on an array of cocktails that showcase distinctive twists on American classics from the pre-Prohibition era.
Bourbon Bar features large communal tables, a rich tobacco-colored wall covering, and a bronze and linen pendant fixture. Guests are also invited to dine al fresco on the 48-seat outdoor terrace along bustling Peachtree Road in the heart of Buckhead’s business district.
