The American Culinary Federation (ACF), the nation’s premier organization for professional chefs and cooks, has again awarded Plugrá European-Style Butter the prestigious ACF Seal of Approval. Three varieties of the butter—salted, unsalted and clarified—were sampled and tested, then awarded by the ACF’s Seal of Approval Committee.

A panel of chefs and industry professionals with extensive and diverse culinary experiences put the three products through a series of rigorous tests which resulted in the team granting Plugrá with the honor. ACF testers use unbiased, measurable criteria to judge rather than taste preference. The butter was evaluated for consistency, performance, adaptability to various cooking situations, and accuracy of labels, and marketing materials.

“Plugrá continues to exceed the quality and performance standards of ACF,” says Plugrá testing committee chair chef James Taylor. “Chefs rely on the flavors and consistency of Plugrá in a number of culinary applications including soups, sauces, appetizers, entrees, side dishes, and baked goods. All three of the Plugrá products were endorsed after passing our tests with distinction.”

“We are so proud to have such an organization in our corner,” says Ashley Campbell, Plugrá senior associate brand manager. “We know that we have a quality product, but when it’s consistently honored by chefs and groups around the country, it adds a layer of credibility that is priceless.”
