Plate IQ, an online accounts payable platform designed for restaurateurs, announced today that Bill Lindsey has joined the team as a strategic adviser to further develop their growing customer base.

With over 40 years in the hospitality industry, including 12 in sales and growth at Compeat Restaurant Management Systems, Lindsey has long helped restaurants use technology to increase control, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies. Lindsey said, “I’m excited to work with Plate IQ in providing the best possible invoice and accounts payable automation service for restaurant operators.”

Plate IQ’s Chief Executive Officer Bhavuk Kaul says, “We’re happy to have Bill on board. His deep knowledge of the hospitality technology landscape gives him essential insight into our customer base. Bill’s experience with growth will be essential as we continue to grow Plate IQ.”

Lindsey said the platform is ideal for restaurateurs looking to reduce the time they spend on paperwork. “Plate IQ means the end of manual invoice data entry. Best of all, it’s designed to work with the accounting and inventory software restaurants already use.”

This partnership puts Plate IQ in a position to expand its already impressive array of clients. Plate IQ currently serves more than 1,000 restaurants including some of the biggest names in the industry, such as NoHo Hospitality, Nobu Restaurants, the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, Vino Volo, Mixt and Tender Greens.
