P.J.W. Restaurant Group presented a check Tuesday for $111,575.30 during the 14-hour live “Change the Luck of a Child” telethon benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of the Philadelphia Region, Inc. hosted by CBS3 and CW Philly.

The group shattered last year’s record-setting donation of $75,000, with patrons at 14 P.J. Whelihan’s and three Pour House locations donating over $100,000 during the month-long campaign. Tito’s Vodka contributed an additional $10,000 to the fund.

Locally, RMHC supports many programs that benefit the health and well-being of children including four Ronald McDonald Houses, whose mission is to keep families close while their children are receiving critical care and treatment at nearby hospitals.
