Located at 301 North Pottstown Pike in Exton, Pennsylvania, the PJW Restaurant Group introduces its sixth, and most recent, concept, ChopHouse Grille, a stylish and inviting restaurant with a seasonally inspired menu. This is the twenty fourth restaurant overall for the successful regional group, which also owns and operates P.J. Whelihan’s, The Pour House, Treno Pizza Bar, Central Taco and Tequila, and The ChopHouse in Gibbsboro, NJ from which the ChopHouse Grille was inspired.

The menu will feature modern, shareable items such as Artichoke Beignets ($10), four different Seasonal Flatbreads ($13) and an Artisan Cheese Trio & Candied Bacon Plate ($18).  A signature, ChopHouse Grille Burger, (Beyond Burger offered as substitute) is made with short rib, chuck & brisket beef blend, Amish cheddar, oven-roasted tomatoes, balsamic bacon-onion jam, brioche roll, home-made pickle served with a side salad or fries ($18).

Unlike traditional steakhouses, ChopHouse Grille will also serve its variety of steaks with a seasonal chef-selected vegetable included as opposed to a la carte. Steak offerings comprise the signature Kona Crusted New York Strip ($42) and Prime Rib ($34) as well as three other cuts. All steaks will be served with a complimentary choice of sauce, options include: House Steak Sauce, Balsamic Bacon-Onion Jam and Peppercorn Whiskey. Classic sides like Crispy Brussel Sprouts ($8), Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes ($8) and ChopHouse Grille Truffle Mac & Cheese ($8) are available as add-ons. Fresh fish offerings include Cedar Wrapped Salmon, oven-roasted cedar wrapped salmon, super grains, caraway mustard sauce, citrus gremolata ($26).

Guests can build a flight of desserts from among ChopHouse Grille’s five dessert shooters, a whimsical, miniature take on classics, like Grilled Banana Split ($3) and Red Velvet Brownie ($4) or Coconut Cream Pie ($3).

The cocktail program promises to be unique by offering a variety of handcrafted libations such as the Coconut Cooler, made with Tito’s, lime juice, simple syrup, cilantro, coconut water, toasted coconut ($11) as well as an extensive assortment of local PA craft beer including Victory, Tröegs and Sterling Pig. There are over 23 wines by the glass, ranging from $9 to $19 for a 6oz. pour and a well-curated selection of bottles. ChopHouse Grille will also serve a number of noteworthy spirit-free beverages including the Lavender Grapefruit Seltzer, lemon juice, grapefruit juice, lavender syrup, seltzer and lavender flowers ($5).

The light-filled 200-plus seat restaurant has high ceilings, exposed wood beams, modern industrial black pipe shelving and pendant lighting throughout. There is a zinc-topped bar which serves as a lively focal point against surrounding area warm, wood toned tables and a palate of cool grays and cream clapboard walls. Smoky navy-blue banquets and bar stools set the stage for the upscale, yet casual dining experience. The four seasons room features an additional bar, bistro lights and doors to the patio with a fire pit and lounge seating to complete the comfortable, sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere.

“We have been a part of the vibrant and growing Exton community since we opened The Pour House over six years ago,” says Jim Fris, CEO of the PJW Restaurant Group. “Our goal with ChopHouse Grille is to strike the perfect balance of upscale sophistication meets casual comfort. Something for everybody – whether it’s a glass of Chardonnay after tennis with the girls, a quality steak dinner with a date or casual time with the family over a few flatbreads and some craft beer.”

ChopHouse Grille will be open for dinner only Thursday, July 25 from 4 PM to 10 PM; Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27 from 4 PM-11 PM; and Sunday, July 28 from 4 PM-10 PM. Lunch and dinner service will begin on Monday, July 29 with regular hours of operation 11:00 AM-10 PM.
