2023 is shaping up to be the year of VOLLI Entertainment.
With the success of its first location in Bellingham, Washington and ahead of new openings in Marysville, Washington and North Richland Hills, Texas this summer – plus several more locations on the horizon – the fast-growing pickleball and entertainment eatery has announced the signing of Marcel Zuzarte and Wyatt Stone as VOLLI brand ambassadors. The two professional pickleball stars will not only offer clinics and lessons at different VOLLI locations in between their tour stops, but will also showcase VOLLI branding on their clothes and paddles when they participate in tournaments.
“This year is a huge one for us and we couldn’t think of a better way of showing that than by bringing Marcel and Wyatt into the family,” says VOLLI CEO and Founder Allan Jones. “Not only are they two great players on the pro pickleball circuit, but they are even better people, which made this partnership a no-brainer. We can’t wait to cheer them on throughout the year and have them cultivate the next generation of pickleball stars at their VOLLI clinics.”
Following an injury that derailed a promising tennis career, Marcel Zuzarte quickly fell in love with Pickleball and has never looked back. The rising star saw his world ranking shoot up to 63rd after playing just three tournaments in 2022. Zuzarte’s dream is to break into the top 10 and that appears to be turning into a reality with each passing tournament – currently ranked 33rd in the world.
A trailblazer in the sport from the start, 18-year-old Wyatt Stone has been traveling across the country and sharing his passion for pickleball by teaching others as the youngest certified International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) Level II teaching professional. Between his coaching, Stone still finds time to dominate on the court as well, currently at #40 in the World Pickleball Rankings and #17 in the PPA World Tour Men’s Doubles rankings.
