Phillips is commemorating 100 years of creating innovative seafood products by adding six new flavor cakes to its portfolio. The new products include Dungeness Crab Cakes, Salmon Cakes, Zesty Tuna Burgers, Lobster Cakes, Spicy Shrimp Cakes, and Latin Cakes.
The new offerings were developed with convenience, versatility and menu optimization in mind. Available in multiple sizes (4, 3.25, 3 and 0.75 ounce), Phillips flavor cakes require no thaw time before cooking and can be baked, pan-sautéed, or fried. A flexible option for multiple dayparts, they can be served center of the plate, as an appetizer or sandwich, or à la carte to enhance other menu items.
With consumers’ growing demand for spicy offerings and a widespread desire for lighter, healthier options, Phillips’ cakes provide chefs and operators the ability to capitalize on current trends.

Dungeness Crab Cakes
Dungeness crab meat blended with celery, peppers, green onions, and cilantro with a touch of chili sauce
Flaked Atlantic salmon blended with lemon zest, herbs, garlic, and onions
Zesty Tuna Burgers
Albacore tuna with a zesty blend of garlic, parsley, onions, and black pepper
Mild-flavored, sweet lobster cakes made with butter crackers
Spicy Shrimp Cakes
Tender shrimp with peppers, green onions and Cajun seasoning
Backfin crab meat with cilantro, bell peppers, poblano peppers, and lime
Chesapeake Crab Cakes
Backfin and claw meat with a variety of seasonings including paprika, mustard seed, onions, and garlic
Crab & Shrimp Cakes
Backfin crab meat and tender shrimp pieces combined with roasted red peppers, celery, and onions
Crab meat seasoned with red and green peppers
Phillips Foodservice is also introducing a new Flavor Cake Variety Pack (100 count), which includes a combination of four mini cakes (0.75 ounce): Lobster Minis (25 count), Spicy Shrimp Minis (25 count), Zesty Tuna Minis (25 count) and Chesapeake Crab Cake Minis (25 count) The bite-sized portions will allow operations to leverage the popularity of sharing, bar bites, small plates and the fourth meal daypart.
