PBR Cowboy Bar and Lockhart Smokehouse Choose to Open in Alabama

PBR Cowboy Bar and Lockhart Smokehouse  announces the selection of Bayer Properties’ Bridge Street Town Centre as its debut location of  PBR x Lockhart Smokehouse. The collaboration brings together two iconic brands, PBR  Cowboy Bar and Lockhart Smokehouse, to create a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment  experience. Bridge Street Town Centre is the premier lifestyle development in the region with  tenants including Apple, Lululemon, PANDORA and Sephora. In partnership with Live!  Concepts, PBR x Lockhart Smokehouse will open in 2022 in the heart of the Huntsville, Alabama mixed-use development, joining a collection of first-class retailers and restaurants at the property. 

PBR x Lockhart Smokehouse marries an electric combination of PBR Cowboy Bar’s ‘cowboy cool’ with Lockhart Smokehouse’s iconic Texas barbecue. PBR Cowboy Bar’s iconic country  western experience will be infused into the restaurant design, showing off a beautiful western chic environment. The 8,121-square-foot eatery will feature great entertainment, including the best in country music, sports watching, and bull riding on the area’s only professionally  endorsed mechanical bull. Guests can expect smoked meat classics such as brisket, sausage, ribs and other meats smoked low and slow over Texas post oak. Reimagined versions of classic  southern sides with a Lockhart Smokehouse twist will round out the menu.

Lockhart, Texas is recognized as the “barbecue capital of Texas” and based on those roots,  Lockhart Smokehouse was founded by Jeff and Jill Bergus. The concept is nationally known for  its traditional barbecue favorites. A family-run eatery born from the legendary Kreuz Market in 

Lockhart, Texas, Lockhart Smokehouse currently has three locations in Dallas, Plano, and Arlington, Texas. Bridge Street Town Centre will be the first debut outside of the state.

Led by Beth Bloom Designs, PBR x Lockhart Smokehouse will show off a beautiful western chic environment inspired by PBR’s iconic country western experience. Reclaimed wood paired with  polished materials and elements of rustic charm, combined with authentic smokers and custom western chandeliers, will create a fun western chic vibe to enjoy barbecue and beer. The main  

restaurant space will feature a grand signature bar with an elevated rustic feel that blends  copper, textured wood and illuminated ribbed glass. The restaurant flows out to an incredible  outdoor patio for dining and socializing. Adorned with comfortable seating, fire pits and string  lights, this casual, sophisticated space will welcome guests who want to dine al fresco both day  and night.

This announcement comes on the heels of a strong year for Bayer Properties and Bridge Street  Town Centre. In January, Bayer announced the additions of The Cheesecake Factory and Main  Event to the Huntsville property, highlighting Bayer’s strategy to introduce first-to-market  concepts as part of a new dining and entertainment district at the lifestyle center. The Bridge  Street Town Centre location of The Cheesecake Factory, which opened earlier this month, marks the first to enter the Huntsville market and the second in Alabama. Main Event at Bridge 

Street Town Centre, set to open in early 2022, will be the company’s first location in the state of Alabama.
