Pancake Social, a breakfast-focused eatery serving pancakes, good coffee, and more, will open this winter at Ponce City Market. The 150-seat restaurant will offer both indoor and outdoor dining and will be located near the North Avenue entrance of Ponce City Market, next to Mountain High Outfitters and facing Historic Fourth Ward Park.
Upon entering the space, guests will be greeted by a coffee counter for orders to go. Just beyond, a full-service restaurant with large tables and booths will welcome visitors to peruse a menu of breakfast-focused favorites, including outstanding pancakes, sandwiches, bowls, and fresh juices from Chef Anne Quatrano. There will also be a large outdoor patio.
The team behind the restaurant includes Dan Jacobson—Owner of Steel Wave Ventures and formerly of Chick-fil-A; Steven Chan—a 20-year veteran of the Atlanta restaurant industry and Founder of Tin Drum Asian Kitchen; Anne Quatrano—James Beard Award-winning Chef and Owner of Bacchanalia, Star Provisions, W.H. Stiles Fish Camp at Ponce City Market, and Floataway Café; and Tony Riffel—Co-Founder of Octane Coffee Company and Elevator Factory.
Ponce City Market is a historic, mixed-use community hub featuring local and world-class food, retail, residential lofts, and office space. Developed by Atlanta-based real estate investment and management company Jamestown, Ponce City Market is a landmark for Atlanta’s skyline and an iconic destination for visitors and neighbors alike. The revitalized building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
With ample public green space and a pedestrian network directly linked to the Atlanta BeltLine corridor, the project combines 259 residential flats; 550,000 square feet of Class-A office space; 300,000 square feet of retail; and centers for learning. At its core is a buzzing indoor/outdoor Central Food Hall featuring restaurants and food stalls from James Beard Award-winning and -nominated chefs. Ponce City Market allocates 20% of its residential units as affordable housing, and for visitors arriving on two wheels, there are 500 bike parking spaces and a complimentary bike valet. A portion of the parking fee at Ponce City Market is donated to the Atlanta BeltLine.
