Outback Steakhouse is debuting its newest restaurant in Mount Prospect, Illinois, opening at 11 a.m. on October 28. To show its support of the local community, a portion of the restaurant's opening day sales will benefit JOURNEYS The Road Home, which is dedicated to individually assessing and serving the homeless and near homeless, while broadening community awareness and involvement with the homeless. The restaurant will be the first in the area to feature a new "Modern Australia" design both inside and out.

To mark the official grand opening, the Mount Prospect Outback restaurant is inviting local area residents to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce at 5 p.m.

"We love being a part of the Mount Prospect community and are excited to open a new restaurant with a totally new design for our guests to enjoy," says Karl Reschke, local proprietor "We're looking forward to seeing our friends and neighbors on grand opening day and to give back to a great cause."

The new Outback will replace the previous location in Buffalo Grove and feature a "Modern Australia" design with decor that mirrors the indigenous flora and fauna, adventure, geography, and leisure of modern day Australia. Guests will also enjoy a spacious bar area that is connected directly to the outdoor dining patio and features a community table, as well as customized seating and furnishings.
