Outback Steakhousewas the primary sponsor of Ryan Newman and the No. 39 Chevrolet for the race in Martinsville, Virginia, yesterday where he crossed the finish line in first place after starting in the fifth position. Outback Steakhouse is celebrating with Bloomin' Monday, which means free Bloomin' Onions available to each table who mentions Newman's first place finish.

The Outback Steakhouse sponsorship of Ryan Newman began this season and whenever Newman finishes in the top-10, fans will get a free Bloomin' Onion at Outback Steakhouse on the Monday immediately following the race. It's a promotion that has generated more interest than ever in where Newman and his No. 39 Chevrolet finish during each Sprint Cup race in 2012.

So far, Outback and Newman have celebrated two Bloomin' Mondays after top-10 finishes, with the first place finish in Martinsville marking the third.

"Our goals at the beginning of the season are always to win every race," says Newman, driver of the No. 39 Outback Steakhouse Chevrolet. "But we know it isn't realistic to win every race on the schedule, so we want to get as many top-5s and top-10s as possible. A free Bloomin' Onion for every top-10 finish? You can count me in for that."

Outback Steakhouse will also be the primary sponsor of Newman and the No. 39 Chevrolet in Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee in August. When not serving as a primary sponsor, Outback Steakhouse will be an associate sponsor with placement on the B-post of the No. 39 Chevrolet Impala.

"Congratulations to Ryan on this tremendous win at Martinsville! We are thrilled to be partners with No. 39 and Stewart-Hass Racing and look forward to many more wins, top-10 finishes, and Bloomin' Mondays," says Jeff Smith, president of Outback.
