For the fifth consecutive year, Orchids at Palm Court, located in Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, was honored with a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Rating, further establishing it as one of the world's premier restaurants with truly exceptional cuisine and service. Orchids at Palm Court is the only restaurant in Cincinnati, and one of only three in Ohio, to receive a Four-Star rating.
Orchids at Palm Court features locally sourced, modern American food using French technique prepared by Todd Kelly, director of food & beverage and executive chef, Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. The menu is updated based on the availability of the freshest ingredients, using local and organic products whenever possible, including the hotel's rooftop beehive, 16th floor herb garden, cheese shop, butcher shop, pastry shop and Chef Kelly's own local farm.
"To be recognized with this award by Forbes again is such an honor," says Chef Kelly. "This award solidifies that it is worth the extra time and effort put forth by our staff on a daily basis to deliver a truly memorable dining experience for our guests."
Orchids at Palm Court is included in the luxury travel ratings that have been the gold standard in the hospitality industry since 1958.
"We are delighted to recognize the 2017 Star Rating recipients, an exceptional collection of hotels, restaurants and spas that demonstrates a strong culture of service," says Gerard J. Inzerillo, chief executive officer of Forbes Travel Guide.
"In an online environment of confusion and clutter, Forbes Travel Guide is the most trusted source of information to assist guests in making informed decisions," Inzerillo says. "These properties, the largest and most global group in the company's history, achieve an impeccable standard of excellence in hospitality, underscoring our overall mission of positively contributing to the international tourism industry as well as individual hotel experience. We are proud to congratulate everyone associated with the prestigious properties recognized today."
