SideDoor, a member of the Lawry’s family of restaurants and the adjacent sister restaurant to Five Crowns in Corona del Mar, California, has created a new, hip brunch menu and scene called “Sunday Sessions,” which will run on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (no reservations required). The kick-off event will occur on April 7 and will feature the music and DJ stylings of StereoSystem Collective.

The Sunday Sessions menu will feature pork belly hash for those with a passion for meat, unique Green Eggs and Ham (SideDoor’s version of eggs Benedict), tomato scramble with chanterelles and roasted corn, confit duck drumettes as a special take on Buffalo wings, limited release craft beers, and much more.

SideDoor will complement the creative and delicious fare with cool vibes that are part Art Basel, chill lounge, and O.C. hangout. Sunday Sessions will feature visiting and local DJs spinning eclectic and funky tunes, as well as special events spotlighting local painters and photographers creating live art, slam poetry, and more.

“SideDoor Sunday Sessions will be one of the most fun, delicious scenes in all of Orange County,” notes chef Greg Harrison. “We are thrilled to create and offer this unique brunch menu. And, the hip environment with great music and performances will make diners relish their Sundays.”

Harrison, a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, is an experienced and well-traveled chef who has been crafting remarkable cuisine for over a decade. His culinary endeavors follow his personal mantra: “To learn, to live, to love, and to leave a legacy.”
