Celebrity Chef Art Smith, best known as Oprah’s former chef, is opening a new signature restaurant at Naples Bay Resort in Naples, Florida.
The restaurant’s name is an homage to the resort’s address at 1500 5th Avenue South, and the Chef’s specialty—Southern cuisine.
Décor is modern with artistic touches, a signature red chandelier and views from both sides of the Naples Bay Resort marina and waterway.
This is the first celebrity chef-led restaurant in Naples. Chef Smith is a sixth generation Floridian, has worked for Oprah Winfrey as well as two Florida Governors, and authored multiple cookbooks.
Naples Bay Resort is owned by local developer Fred Pezeshkan and partners. Naples Bay Resort sits on 20 prime bayfront acres, along 5th Avenue South. With one of the few hotel marinas on the West coast of the state, the resort has 97 yacht slips, a world class tennis facility, spa, fitness area, four pools, meeting space, vacation accommodations, a hotel, and retail.
