Red Lantern Restaurant & Lounge and Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge have both been honored as recipients for OpenTable’s 2013 Diner’s Choice Award, which recognizes the esteemed properties as members of the “Top 100 Hottest Restaurant Bars” in the country. Based on customer reviews of more than 5 million submissions by verified OpenTable diners for more than 15,000 restaurants in all 50 states, these two Big Night Entertainment Group properties came out on top.

Red Lantern, located in Boston’s Back Bay, is known for its excellent food and outstanding atmosphere. With a seating capacity of almost 250 people, Red Lantern features a bar, open kitchen, full sushi counter, and custom wok station. The Asian hotspot has also earned top accolades, such as TripAdvisors’s 2013 “Certificate of Excellence,” UrbanSpoon’s “Top 250 High-End Restaurants” and Boston Globe Magazine’s “Best of the New in 2011.” Located in the heart of Fan Pier in the Seaport District with a seating capacity of 650 people, Empire transports guests into the mystics of Asia. Both Red Lantern and Empire are designed by award-winning designer Peter Niemitz.

Since opening in summer 2012, Empire has been awarded honors such as Gayot’s “Hot 40 of 2013,” Boston Globe Magazine’s “Best of the New” and Thrillist’s “The Thrillist 47,” along with many more. Empire is a 14,000-square-foot Asian restaurant and lounge located in the Fan Pier of the Seaport area of Boston, just steps from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. Empire offers a menu from executive chef Kevin Long, to go alongside a stylized interior and ethereal atmosphere. With a capacity of 650 guests, and three 40-seat private dining rooms that can be opened up to create one large private space, Empire can accommodate groups of all sizes for receptions and seated dinners.
