Old Chicago launched its annual Cinco de Mayo Mini Beer Tour today, Wednesday, April 11, to help beer lovers celebrate Cinco de Mayo with fiestas across the country.

The Cinco de Mayo Mini Tour runs through Sunday, May 6, and Old Chicago’s World Beer Tour members who complete the Cinco de Mayo Mini Tour by sampling all eight beers will receive the highly coveted Mini Tour T-shirt with a new Cinco de Mayo design.

The Cinco de Mayo Mini Tour celebrations kick off today with parties at each of the restaurant chain’s nearly 100 locations nationwide.

The Tour features eight Mexican and Mexican-style lagers, including guest favorites like Corona Extra Lager, Tecate Lager, Pacifico Clara Lager, Dos Equis Amber Lager, and Negra Modela Dark Lager.

Additionally, Old Chicago restaurants in Colorado will introduce a new beer during the Cinco de Mayo Mini Tour, El Guapo, an exclusive brew from Great American Beer Festival and World Beer Cup winner, Del Norte. El Guapo will be available at Colorado locations only while supplies last, so guests should hurry in to try it.

“The Cinco de Mayo Mini Tour at Old Chicago is always a favorite because guests get to enjoy the best beers of Mexico, as well as local craft beers that vary by restaurant location,” says Mark Newman, director of beverage for Old Chicago.

“We’re excited to bring back Mexican beer favorites, and to give our guests a taste of award-winning Del Norte’s new El Guapo before anyone else. It’s the next best thing to vacationing on your favorite beach in Mexico.”
