American Blue Ribbon Holdings has announced the promotion of Mickey Mills to president of O’Charley’s. Mills was previously vice president of operations for O’Charley’s and has been with the Nashville-based casual dining chain since 2010. Her appointment comes on the heels of an announced revitalization project for the 213 restaurant brand.

“We are thrilled to name Mickey Mills as president of O’Charley’s,” says Hazem Ouf, president and CEO of American Blue Ribbon Holdings, the parent company of O’Charley’s which acquired the brand in May 2012. “Mickey is a strong leader and has done a terrific job as we’ve implemented many positive changes in our restaurants. We look forward to enhancing O’Charley’s guest satisfaction under Mickey’s leadership.”

Prior to joining O’Charley’s, Mills spent nearly two decades with Buca di Beppo, most recently serving as senior vice president of operations at their Minneapolis headquarters. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management’s Executive Leadership Program. She is an active member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum.

Mills will lead O’Charley’s through a time of significant investment as the company has launched the interior and exterior re-image program, as well as a new brand mark. Over the next two years each of the company’s restaurants is expected to undergo the revitalization plans focused on providing better guest experience. The company has already introduced an updated menu in many locations that includes unique takes on unmistakably American items and Southern favorites such as Crispy Pickle Chips, Honey Drizzled Southern Fried Chicken, and Homestyle Pot Roast Dinner. It is also offering signature pies such as Double-Crust Peach, Southern Pecan, French Silk, Country Apple, and Ooey Gooey Caramel.
