NORMS Partners with Common Space Brewery to Create Limited-Edition IPA

NORMS Restaurants and Common Space Brewery have teamed up on a limited-edition IPA to cheers the final days of summer.

Officially hitting shelves today, four-pack cans of the ‘NORMS IPA’ are now available at Whole Foods, Bristol Farms and Lazy Acres across Los Angeles and North Orange counties at the suggested retail price of $15.99. Locations (subject to change weekly) currently include Whole Foods Venice, Silverlake & Huntington Beach, Bristol Farms Pasadena, Booze & Brews #2, Westview Bottle Apostle, and Modern Liquor. Additionally, NORMS IPA is available on tap and by the four-pack at Common Space Brewery, with the price of 1 pint (16 oz) being $9 and the four-pack being $16.

To create this special edition pale malt, Common Space’s Headbrewer Andy Link worked with NORMS’ Corporate Executive Chef David Cox to brew a dynamic duo of Mosaic (25%) and Citra (75%) hops. The result is a vibrant, aromatic beer with notes of mango, clementine and calamansi. The 30-barrel batch (~900 gallons) was brewed and produced in Common Space’s brewery in Hawthorne, CA, located just a few miles from multiple NORMS locations.

While Common Space is no stranger to collaborative brews (past partners include Coolhaus, Dogtown Skateboards and more), this partnership marks the iconic diner chain’s first-ever foray into the beverage space.
