New Start-Up Helps Turn Mobile Users into Customers

Restaurateurs will now be able to find the answers to the questions they have about mobile marketing and getting an edge on today’s mobile technology, thanks to Punch Mobile Marketing.

Kinetica Media, a decade-old marketing agency in Ohio, has launched Punch Mobile Marketing, a cutting-edge service offered to restaurants and food service providers nationwide to optimize their online mobile presence.

“Punch Mobile Marketing helps people quickly find and interact with local restaurants on their mobile phones,” says Executive Director Chris Swemba.

“Punch helps restaurants serve their mobile customers with an intuitive mobile website, while increasing restaurants’ visibility in dozens of local search engines, GPS devices and mobile applications.”

The idea for Punch came from Swemba’s frustration as a customer.

He searched for restaurants only to discover his navigation efforts were fruitless. “When I got to their website, it was an even worse experience,” Swemba says.

“I couldn’t find any of the information I wanted easily like a phone number or the menu.”

Punch’s efforts to help restaurants turn Smartphone and tablet users into customers isn’t the company’s only goal. Rather, along with the mobile marketing services Punch offers, the company established a blog that answers all the burning questions the food service industry has about mobile marketing.

“We’re constantly creating solutions to put in the hands of our clients,” says Sara Petersen, Punch’s Content Marketing Manager.

“These are tools that will help restaurants understand the mobile needs and trends of their customers, and then capitalize them to their advantage.”
