New Huddle House Prototype Breaks Record

Huddle House, the iconic breakfast franchise, recently celebrated the opening of a new location in Decatur, IL, and its already breaking records.

After opening in January, the location experienced record-breaking sales and traffic counts. The location did more than $53,000 in one week, which is the single highest first week sales of this Huddle House prototype.

The new Huddle House franchise is owned by Chazaray Carson and Jessica Michael, two friends who saw the need for a quality breakfast restaurant in their neighborhood. The high volume that the location is experiencing is currently only for dine-in and pick-up, and the location can’t wait to see the success once delivery is added to the mix.

“The success of this opening supports our business thesis that Illinois can be a very successful market for Huddle House,” says Troy Tracy, Brand President of Huddle House. “The Huddle House brand makes meaningful impacts on the lives of its franchisees and the communities that they are in. We are thrilled that due to the success of the Decatur location, the owners now can’t wait to open a second location.”

Huddle House currently has more than 290 locations open or in development. Established in 1964, the legacy brand is poised to lead the future of the family dining space through the vision of its parent company, Ascent Hospitality Management.
