The National Restaurant Association is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members: Jessica Falborn and Adam Hasley as part of the Association’s advocacy team. Falborn is serving as Senior Advisor, strategically managing operations and supporting the internal and external communications from the Association’s advocacy team. Hasley is serving as the Director of Advocacy Research and Insights, utilizing data, research and technology to drive insights into public policy on the local, state, and federal level impacting the restaurant industry. Both new team members will assist efforts to advocate on behalf of the Association’s members to advance the priorities of the restaurant industry.
“We are excited to have Jessica and Adam join our team at the National Restaurant Association,” says Cicely Simpson, Executive Vice President of the National Restaurant Association. “Jessica’s experience providing strategic guidance on government affairs and advocacy best practices will make her a great asset to our team and organization. Adam has a multitude of experiences analyzing research for different industries which will help support our members across the country.”
Falborn joins the Association from The Hill, where she launched their first premium digital news service, The Hill Extra. In this capacity, she managed the daily operations and all business development and sales efforts. Previously, Falborn launched and sold best practice memberships at National Journal, and managed state and local chamber memberships at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Falborn has received her IOM designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Institute for Organization Management and is currently pursuing her CAE certification with ASAE. She is a graduate of University of Delaware, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in international relations. Falborn is originally from New York.
Prior to joining the National Restaurant Association, Hasley served as Chief Operating Officer for an international consulting firm based in Zhengzhou, China where he provided market analyses for Chinese firms looking to expand into American markets. He has also worked for political campaigns from congressional to presidential, advising on voter analytics and fundraising. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas, where he received a degree in International Business.
