Mr Brews Sees Healthy Sales Increases in 2022

Entering 2023, Mr Brews Taphouse announced that the brand saw excellent achievements throughout the business this past year, including overall sales, new market entrance, partnerships and more.

In 2022, Chief Operating Office Mark Leach reports the company was up 8.5% over 2021, and up 55.8% compared to 2019. Leach attributes much of this success to new unit growth in several markets, including Arizona, Florida and Kansas. In addition, the customer check average was up 6.3% in 2022 compared to 2021, and various partnership agreements with third-party platforms resulted in an increase in off-premise sales to 8%.

“We’re so proud of the numbers we saw last year, and it gives our company great momentum going into 2023,” Leach says. “Looking back to the last two years, we’ve seen positive sales growth in 21 out of the past 24 months, and these figures highlight our commitment to each community we serve by reflecting the local people in our beer and menu offerings. We can’t wait to keep it going this year and beyond.”

In addition to the exciting sales success, Mr Brews Taphouse was named a Trailblazer of Casual dining by FSR Magazine in its FSR Next Gen 25 list. Looking ahead, Mr Brews looks to build off the success of its new opening in Mesa, Arizona, and Venice, Florida, and its re-branding process, which included an updated logo and the beginnings of a refresh program. In 2023, Mr Brews also aims to be above 10% of sales from off-premise sales and to develop an off-premise program with catering options.
