Mexican Sugar, a restaurant with a Latin-inspired twist, will open its second DFW location in spring in Las Colinas at 3215 Regent Boulevard, Irving, Texas 75063. The restaurant currently has one other location which is in Plano at The Shops at Legacy.

Like the original Mexican Sugar location, the planned 10,793-square-foot and 427 seat Las Colinas location redefines traditional Mexican food while presenting exotic tastes inspired by South and Central America and beyond. All dishes are made-from-scratch and prepared with fresh ingredients to create bold and flavorful fare. Mexican Sugar uses cooking methods paired with Latin inspiration to showcase the distinctive flavors in each bite.

Guests will be able to enjoy over 150 tequilas in Mexican Sugar’s expansive tequila library or a small batch cocktail. Mexican Sugar also offers tequila flights featuring four samples per flight allowing guests to explore the many flavors of a variety of tequilas. Three of Mexican Sugar’s signature margaritas are also available in a flight. The beer and wine selection is heavily influenced by South America and Spain with sangrias also being featured on the drink menu.

Mexican Sugar will be open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Happy Hour is available on weekdays from 3 – 6 p.m. with specials on select food and drinks.
