Unique Store Fixtures received an award for Masseria restaurant, Toronto, from the Retail Design Institute (RDI) at its 46th Awards Gala in New York City.  The award for Casual Dining and Entertainment was presented to Unique Store Fixtures out of 125 project entries. This honor demonstrates Unique Store Fixtures’ ability to provide the right ingredients for award winning restaurant environments.

Designed by BURDIFILEK and manufactured by Unique Store Fixtures, Masseria’s impressive interior includes a massive 12 foot round oak table, a food prep area with glass guards and two stone and wood walls with shelving for pizza boxes. The stone and wood theme continues throughout the restaurant with long tables and built-in condiment trays.

“We’ve worked on several amazing award winning retail projects with BURDIFILEK,” says Ferro Corrente of Unique Store Fixtures. “Once again the design and materials used to create the interior of Masseria was a recipe for success. We made sure the wood, stone and other design elements mixed into the space produced an award worthy restaurant experience.”

In all, the Retail Design Institute’s annual international store design competition awarded 42 projects representing the work of 32 firms (10 international and 22 North American design consultants).
