Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, the award-winning restaurant concept that serves savory, Southern-style food in 17 full-service, high-energy restaurants throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada, will open a new location at the Westfield West Covina shopping center in the first quarter of 2014.

Founded in 1999, Lucille’s is known for its signature slow-smoked barbeque, flavorful appetizers, soups, salads, burgers, sides, and desserts that are served with a large helping of down-home, friendly service. Lucille’s restaurants are reminiscent of a Southern roadhouse replete with its distinctive Southern decor, and also offer Live Blues entertainment in the Flying Pig Lounges. Lucille’s also receives rave reviews for its legendary customer service rooted in Southern hospitality.

“West Covina is another ideal location for Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que,” says Craig Hofman, president of Hofman Hospitality Group. “We look forward to bringing our authentic, slow-cooked, Southern-style BBQ, and our legendary friendly service to Westfield West Covina for its visitor and others in the surrounding community to enjoy.”

“West Covina is thrilled to welcome Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que to our community,” says Shelley Sanderson, mayor of West Covina.  “The City has been pursuing Lucille’s for some time and we are excited to finally announce that they will be opening a restaurant in West Covina. As a result of the City’s efforts and business friendly environment, West Covina is able to attract restaurants of Lucille’s caliber to open in our community. Lucille’s will be a great addition to our community, offering residents a new dining experience.”

Lucille’s in West Covina will seat approximately 275 guests in approximately 7,300 square feet, including the Flying Pig Lounge.  The restaurant will be located near Best Buy facing the 10 Freeway in the shopping center.
