This September, Troy Guard’s Celebrity Chef Taco Series welcomes Chef Chad Clevenger from Alma Cocina. Chef Clevenger presents his take on the taco, the Grilled Chicken Al Carbon Taco. The Grilled Chicken Al Carbon Taco features Red Grape-Fire Roasted Pueblo Green Chile Pico de Gallo, Queso Fresco, Red Onions, Cilantro, and Lime ($6.50). Chef Clevenger’s Taco will be available September 12-25, 2022.
TAG Restaurant Group (TRG) Guard, kicked off this exciting series in January 2022 with his mission to raise funds to help the communities affected by the devastating January Marshall Fires with a fundraising program benefiting Boulder Community Foundation. He wanted to give other Colorado chefs the opportunity to get creative and raise funds for a charity near and dear to their hearts.
$1 of every taco goes towards Chef Clevenger’s two charities of choice, Sophie’s Neighborhood, which is a nonprofit dedicated to fundraising for research into the development of an effective treatment or cure for an ultra rare genetic disorder: Multicentric Carpotarsal Osteolysis (MCTO), and The Giving Kitchen Atlanta, which provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.
Los Chingones’ continues their Celebrity Chef Taco Series, with proceeds from each Taco benefitting a cause chosen by that month’s guest chef. Read below for details on the next Celebrity Chef.
