Beginning Thursday, November 1 through Saturday, November 3, the Los Angeles Convention Center will host the annual Franchise Expo West. The expo, organized by MFV Expositions, will open its doors at 10 a.m. PST and will become the epicenter of small business as current and aspiring entrepreneurs have the unique opportunity to meet face-to-face with more than 200 proven franchise brands across various industries and investment levels.
Last year’s event drew attendees from 42 states and 38 countries bringing in record-breaking attendance. This year, the expo is to follow suit with a pre-registration increase of 20 percent. Many expect attendance numbers to surpass last year’s event. Throughout the three-days, attendees are encouraged to take advantage of the expansive display of franchise opportunities, explore and network with industry-leading franchise brands, and attend comprehensive educational programs. Franchise Expo West offers guests the chance to learn strategies for success with over 30 complimentary seminars and five in-depth workshops.
“As economic optimism continues to rise and the franchise industry grows to new heights, many businessmen and women are turning to franchising to transform their lives. Each year, exhibitors who come to Franchise Expo West have the opportunity to shine a spotlight on their franchise brand, introduce their investment opportunity to hundreds of qualified individuals, attract new leads, and connect face-to-face with existing candidates all over a three-day period,” says Tom Portesy, President and CEO of MFV Expositions, producer of Franchise Expo West. “The expo generates massive amounts of foot traffic – allowing the franchisors on-site to be introduced to quality leads who will allow them to break into new regions and/or further develop their reach in existing markets.
Franchises are big business for entrepreneurs across the country – In fact, the 2018 annual franchise business outlook report showed us the multi-billion-dollar franchise industry is set to grow for the eighth year in a row and is credited for high growth, sales, and for creating more jobs than any other type of business. It is projected to continue its above-trend growth, expecting to reach nearly $451 billion by year-end. Aside from Los Angeles’ famed entertainment industry, the city has one of the largest economies in the world that continues to gain the attention of emerging companies, attract talented workers, and promote business ownership and franchise expansion.
“Los Angeles’ bustling city is the perfect market to host Franchise Expo West as we aim to inform attendees of the ins-and-outs of franchise business while driving them, their business, and future businesses to success. We cannot wait to hear the success stories and the newly closed deals that result from this show,” adds Portesy
The Franchise Expo West costs $10 to register in advance and $20 at the door, but those who register at http://www.FranchiseExpoWest.com and use promo code FPR can receive a complimentary pass to attend the show. On-site registration is also available, but pre-registration is recommended.
