Beatrix, a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place from Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, will open in the Loop at 155 N. Wacker Dr. in spring 2022. This will be Beatrix’s first location in the Loop and the fifth of its kind. The concept was created by Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners Rita Dever, Susan Weaver and the late John Chiakulas.

“We are thrilled to bring Beatrix to Chicago’s Loop neighborhood and business community,” says Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs. “Beatrix is your go-to meeting spot – it’s the place to grab a cup of coffee and your favorite pastry, have a lunch meeting, or enjoy cocktails with co-workers.”

With locations in Fulton Market, Oak Brook, River North and Streeterville, Beatrix will offer options for breakfast, lunch and happy hour. The menu, led by Beatrix Corporate Chef Andrew Ashmore, will feature healthful comfort food including vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options.

The new full-service Beatrix location will be in the same building as its sister-concept Beatrix Market, a quick, grab and go market experience. Beatrix in the Loop will feature indoor and outdoor seating, a private dining space, an extended bar and cocktail program, as well as its iconic coffee and pastry counter.

The restaurant will be open Monday through Friday.
