Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group (LVRG), a Red Robin franchisee covering the Lehigh Valley, Northeast, Southeast, and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, regions, announced Nikki Bloom has been named Chief Financial Officer. In her new role, Bloom will oversee all finance and accounting functions while leveraging creative problem-solving skills to maximize financial performance across all of LVRG locations.
With almost two decades of experience at LVRG, Bloom rose through the ranks of the restaurant group gaining experience in every facet of accounting and finance. Her upward progress and commitment to furthering her development throughout the years are a great example of the success that can come from hard work, dedication, and prioritizing personal growth.
Bloom leveraged her institutional knowledge, teamwork, and experience to help lead LVRG out of the uncertain times of the pandemic and into stability, recovery, and sales growth throughout 2021 while still planning for the company’s future. She served in a critical role in 2020, handling government shutdowns, Payroll Protection Program Loans, and Employee Retention Tax Credits and implemented many effective and crucial measures to help preserve the necessary funds to meet the company’s financial obligations. She did all of this while acting as a true team player, assisting other staff by executing tasks that fell outside of her everyday job responsibilities.
Bloom has been promoted six times since joining LVRG in 2004 to her current role from an Administrative Assistant to Staff Accountant and then to Accounting Services Supervisor. In 2015, she ascended to Manager of Accounting and Finance. Two years later, she was named Controller, and in 2018 she was promoted for the fifth time to Vice President of Accounting and Finance.
“Nikki values integrity, ethical behavior, lifelong learning for her and her team, building relationships with Team Members and our vendor partners, and time with her family and friends. She is a true brand ambassador of LVRG, and her many accomplishments are a great example of how passion, empathy, commitment, and continued education are a pathway to leadership and success,” says Mike Axiotis, CEO of Lehigh Valley Restaurant Group. “I am truly proud and honored to have her on our team.”
Bloom earned a BA from East Stroudsburg University and two Associate degrees from Lehigh Carbon Community College in Business Administration and Accounting.
