Legion Brewing Company announced the opening of their third location in Charlotte. This new production facility and taproom is the perfect addition to further the mission upon which Legion Brewing was founded; to foster community by spreading happiness through friends and beer.
“We are appreciative of Charlotte’s growing demand for our products. However, that is not the sole purpose for growth. We firmly believe that with every new location there is opportunity for new friends in new neighborhoods,” says co-owner Phil Buchy. Since opening in Plaza Midwood in 2015, Legion has done just that with the opening of the SouthPark location in September of 2018. Legion is the first brewery to hit the SouthPark market, and they look forward to the exciting opportunity in West Charlotte.
The third facility will be located at 2001 W. Morehead Street, in the development led by White Point Partners, which will also include office and retail space. Legion is expected to open this location in the Fall of 2020. The West Morehead site will be equipped with an expanded brewery production, taproom, biergarten and courtyard; along with a full beer and food menu. “We can’t wait for everyone to experience our newest adventure with us,” Buchy says.
