Each year, the South Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association selects finalists from around the state who exemplify the highest standards of excellence in service to their company, to their customers, and to their community.
This year’s recipient of the Restaurant Front of the House Employee of the Year award is Ed Szuster from Larkin’s on the River in Greenville. Ed comments, “It’s quite an honor to win out over such fine servers and great restaurants throughout the state of South Carolina.”
Szuster and his wife, Megan, along with Bruce Wise, Bob Munnich (chief operating officer),and several other members of the management team attended the awards banquet in Greenville on November 9.
The awards ceremony and banquet for the state award will be held on February 15in Charleston. Szuster has been with Larkin’s for four years.
