Lapeer Seafood Market, the recently opened restaurant and bar serving fresh coastal cuisine in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, is now serving a new fall menu.

Diners can choose from autumnally-inspired starters like Butternut Squash Soup with crab salad & chive espelette and Cured Trout with Cara Cara lemon puree, spicy pepitas, sorrel & flake salt. From the mains section, highlights include Steelhead Trout with roasted fall roots, carrot puree & coriander; Cheshire Pork Tenderloin with textures of carrot, popped buckwheat, turnips, apple cider & shiso; and Whole Fish with nuoc cham, herbs & sweet potato coin. Hyper-seasonal sides like Sweet Potato with Greek yogurt & sumac and Roasted Butternut with Pepitas & cider round out the new menu. Each dish can be paired with selections from the beverage list, which features local beer, wine, specialty cocktails and a large selection of mezcal curated by beverage director Cody Brown.

Drawing inspiration from relaxed beach towns along the East Coast—like surfer favorite Montauk—Lapeer is from co-owner Louis Soon and culinary director Andy Long of Maven Restaurant Group, the team behind acclaimed spots South Main Kitchen and Butcher & Brew and the newly opened taco stand Tocayo. Lapeer is open daily for lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch and features a mindfully-sourced seafood menu of dayboat fish, a raw bar, family-style plates, daily specials and a refreshing beverage program centered upon mezcal.
