Kraftwork, located at 541 E. Girard Avenue in Fishtown, has introduced a new chef, a new menu and a variety of nightly specials at the popular gastropub which opened in 2010. Chef David Green, who brings with him 20-plus years of restaurant experience, has added a bunch of new menu items and specials to the Fishtown bar & restaurant, which are now available at the corner of Montgomery and Girard Avenues.

The new menu includes a Grilled Pear Salad; Braised Short Rib Platter; Birria Tacos; a Short Rib Cheesesteak with fried onions and Cooper sharp American cheese; Loaded Baked Potato Soup; Cheesesteak Egg Rolls; Crab Fries; Beef Chili; Buffalo Wings; and ‘Side Project Jerk Wings’ from Side Project Jerky owner Marcos Espinosa, who Green met on Instagram and brought in to collaborate on the restaurant’s new menu.

“I was influenced by this hilarious influencer who creates all these wonderful flavors and does a lot of work with restaurants in Philly,” Green says of Espinosa, who is known as @FidelGastro on Instagram. “I’m really excited to work with him and offer a new menu item that you can’t find anywhere else. And I’m absolutely thrilled to get back in the kitchen at a really cool spot in the heart of Fishtown where I can see new and fresh faces come through the door every single day.”

Green’s weekly specials include half-priced burgers on Mondays, $1 tacos (or $4 birria tacos) on Tuesdays, $1 wings on Wednesdays, $12 unlimited ravioli (traditional or fried) on Thursdays, and a rotating tap takeover on Fridays.

Kraftwork is open from 4 to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 pm to midnight Friday, 10:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.  Weekend brunch service is available Saturday and Sunday until 3 p.m.
