The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel announces the openings of two new beverage and restaurant concepts, St. Julep (opening today, March 24th) and Willow Bar (opening tomorrow, March 25th). Led by General Manager Brian McFarland, St. Julep and Willow Bar offer two unique and exciting additions to The Sylvan’s already stellar restaurant and beverage lineup, also featuring its newly opened modern American supper club concept,The Betty. St. Julep, a rooftop lounge and bar, soars nine floors above Buckhead and offers panoramic views, fun beverages, clever food items, and plenty of good times. Willow Bar, a tucked-away garden bar located just behind the hotel’s living room, is a lush and secluded respite from Atlanta’s bustling scene, offering refreshing beverages, plant-forward menu options, and secluded nooks for cozy gatherings.
Spirited Stargazing Above Buckhead
St. Julep is a rooftop bar and lounge perched on the ninth floor of The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel. Featuring panoramic views of Buckhead, playful design elements, and a spirited scene, St. Julep invites guests to come as they are, kick back, and enjoy. Nostalgic and fun menu offerings from Executive Chef Brandon Chavannes will include items such as Sichuan Tots; the Cheeeese Mozz Corndog; and the Mulita Burger with Cheese. The beverage menu highlights selective yet simple crowd favorites, including gin & tonics, margaritas, highballs, and a seasonal rotation of boozy soft-serve ice cream offerings like Chili Mango and Vanilla & Black Pepper, as well as a Black Pepper Ice Cream Sandwich. To keep the good times rolling, a regular weekend lineup of DJs will spin live sets as guests dine, imbibe, and stargaze.
St. Julep has a hip and eclectic feel; its bold colors, playful design elements, and spirited energy help define the space. A combination of cozy couches, bar seating, and private nooks spread across its expansive indoor/outdoor space ensures that there's a space for every mood and vibe. Cheeky neon signage, a mural by local artist Shanequa Gay, and several Insta-worthy installations make St. Julep the place to see and be seen in Buckhead.

Nestled just behind The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel, Willow Bar is a tucked-away garden bar and lounge that provides a secluded oasis for intimate conversations and convivial gatherings. The beverage program from Sommelier Joe Billesbach is anchored by patio-perfect wine offerings (featuring a 12-glass wine list and 50-70 curated bottles focused on rosé, Mediterranean whites, and effervescent options), as well as light and easy-drinking cocktails and beers. The selection of sharable snacks from Executive Chef Brandon Chavannes are largely plant-based to complement the surroundings; the menu includes dishes like Smoked Shiitakes with Green Tomato and Walnuts; and Jerk Cauliflower with Tamarind alongside omnivore favorites such as the Chef’s Picnic Basket with Fried Chicken and a spread of potato salad, fresh fruit, and all the fixins.
Willow Bar draws its energy from beautiful, lush landscaping, and the buzz from a festive crowd out for a night on the town. Its spaces feel secluded and intimate, while also activated and energetic. The glow of floor lanterns and candles light the space, and chill, feel-good tunes keep the good vibes flowing.
