On Christmas Eve, Chef John Tesar will offer his annual Feast of the Seven Fishes Dinner at Knife Steakhouse in Plano, at The District at Willow Bend. Feast of the Seven Fishes is an Italian tradition derived from the Roman Catholic custom of celebrating Christmas Eve with a shared meatless meal before the midnight Mass. Since his days at Spoon, Chef Tesar has made this tradition his own by perfectly curating a fish and seafood meal for his guests.
This year’s feast includes seven courses and is available for $150 per person, with an additional wine pairing available for $65 (tax and gratuity not included). Chef John Tesar’s Feast of the Seven Fishes seven-course tasting menu includes:
Shichimi Togarashi Pancake, Uni , Caviar “Syrup"
Pounded Big Eye Tuna, Foie Gras Tourchon, Sea Salt, Ligurian Olive Oil, Chives
Live Diver Scallop, Shallot Brown Butter, Wild Mushroom Broth, Shaved Black Truffle
