Paul Piazza & Son Seafood, Inc. announced that Jim Flanders has joined the company Regional Sales Manager for Paul Piazza’s premium, wild-caught Gulf shrimp products.
A graduate of Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, Flanders has a successful track record with seafood specifically in the food and beverage industry, having spent 16 years as a Corporate Executive Chef and Seafood Specialist for Sysco in both the Dallas and Gulf Coast areas. Most recently, he served as Director of Fresh Sales for Sysco Foods West Coast Florida.
Flanders is well-versed in a variety of industry skills and specializations—from recipe development and costing, to preparation techniques, catering and quality. He has an in-depth understanding and can relate to the challenges that foodservice industry professionals face every day. Most importantly, working with clients face-to-face in the industry in which he has spent his career gives Flanders a unique opportunity to bring added value through consultation with customers who buy or are considering Piazza’s wild-caught Gulf shrimp products.
