The Indigo Road Hospitality Group to Open Italian Concept Colleta in Cary, North Carolina

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group announces the opening of Colletta – the casual yet polished family-style Italian restaurant in Fenton, helmed by European-trained Chef Oscar Gnapi. Colletta marks the third Indigo Road Hospitality Group restaurant to open in the Triangle area, joining award-winning downtown Raleigh restaurants O-Ku and Oak Steakhouse, and the second Colletta location, following the Atlanta, GA Avalon destination. Colletta, named “Best Italian” by Thrillist and “100 Hottest Restaurants” by Modern Luxury will open in Fenton Friday, September 2nd at 5 p.m. Guests may choose from 60 indoor dining seats, 60 seats outdoors on the semi-covered patio, or a spot at the 12-seat bar. Upon opening, Colletta will serve dinner only; lunch and brunch will be announced in the coming weeks. “We are thrilled to now introduce a third restaurant to the Triangle’s thriving dining scene, led by the talented chef Oscar Gnapi,” says Indigo Road Founder Steve Palmer. “We believe Colletta’s elevated Italian American menu, gracious service and modern design, will be a welcome addition to this community. We’re honored to be the first restaurant to welcome diners to Fenton.”

The Menu

Colletta, which means “collection” in Italian, is just that – a compilation of lively dining experiences. Colletta celebrates the best of Italian American dishes with welcoming hospitality and service – whether with a group of family and friends, a date night or a lively happy hour at the bar. Seasonal changes, outstanding ingredients and a made-from-scratch philosophy guide Gnapi’s menu of house-made focaccia and pasta, antipastis such as Shrimp Scampi and Burrata with Balsamic glaze, made-to-order wood-fired pizzas, and large dishes such as wood-grilled Hangar Steak with romesco and Porchetta with crispy artichokes. End with Italian classics, like Ricotta Zeppole, Tira Misu, Butterscotch Budino and Espresso Martinis.

Signature Dishes include…

Meatballs with C.A.B pork & veal, San Marzano tomatoes, polenta & parmesan

Calabrese Pizza with salami, Calabrian chili oil, mozzarella and honey

Black Pepper Tagliatelle with pork tesa, carbonara, egg yolk and fresh herbs
