IHOP announced it will launch the International Bank of Pancakes, the brand's first loyalty program designed to spread joy to guests. Slated to officially launch in April 2022, the International Bank of Pancakes allows guests to turn their meals into “PanCoins”–digital rewards that live in the IHOP mobile app and on IHOP.com that can be redeemed for coupons for exclusive rewards and even more delicious food from IHOP.
IHOP’s new loyalty program is simple: buy food, earn PanCoins, and redeem those PanCoins for coupons for more joyful experiences at IHOP and other prizes. Additionally, opening an account at the International Bank of Pancakes is as easy as ordering your favorite full stack. Guests can create an account on IHOP.com, or simply by downloading the IHOP app in the Apple or Android app store.

We wanted to make it even more rewarding for existing and new guests to enjoy time together, great food and those moments between the bites that bring us so much happiness, which is why we’re introducing the brands first-ever loyalty program, The International Bank of Pancakes,” says Kieran Donahue, Chief Marketing Officer, IHOP. “From our menu to our marketing efforts, we are on a mission to infuse joy into every aspect of the brand, including how we connect with guests and the communities they serve.”
During the early access period of March 9 to March 29, guests can pre-register for IHOP’s International Bank of Pancakes to become a Founding Member with access to exclusive perks. Only Founding Members will receive a sign-up bonus of 10 PanCoins (which can be redeemed for coupons for two full stacks of buttermilk pancakes), as well as $0 Delivery Fee on all orders via the IHOP app or IHOP.com and more Founder-only offers and rewards. When the program officially launches in early April, the benefits are still plentiful, as every member will receive coupons for free birthday pancakes, exclusive offers, rewards that stack up, secret menu offerings and Pay ‘N Go from the mobile app.
The International Bank of Pancakes is part of IHOP’s focused business plan to create stronger one-on-one relationships with guests and serves as a brand technology initiative to modernize and refresh the mobile app and website ordering experience. This app will make it easier for guests to order and earn PanCoins as well as pay for their meal at the table when dining at an IHOP location.
