Idahoan Foods announced Richard Hoelzel as Corporate Executive Chef, Foodservice. In his new role, Hoelzel will work closely with Idahoan’s current and future customers on menu engineering as well as supporting new product development.
Hoelzel entered the foodservice industry after earning his degree at the Culinary Institute of America. His commitment to training and developing talent in other people, paired with his focus on excellence in execution, makes him a remarkably qualified addition to the Idahoan team.
“Joining Idahoan is something that I have longed for my entire career as a chef,” adds Hoelzel. “Being able to help other chefs and getting to express my creativity through food is my passion, and Idahoan shares that passion.”
Hoelzel joins Idahoan following over 20 years as Corporate Executive Chef and Regional Director of Operations at a leading global contract foodservice and hospitality company. He brings with him a wealth of culinary experience that will help expand the company’s thought leadership in foodservice innovation.
