Huddle House is continuing to pave a steady path of growth with its most recent signed agreement in the Midwest. The full-service concept is planning to develop its 10th Illinois-based location in Decatur with area natives Chazaray Carson and Jessica Michael leading the charge. This new agreement will support the Huddle House franchise development team’s desire to aggressively expand the restaurant’s footprint across the country and kickstart partnership opportunities with local investors looking to make an impact in their community.
Now beginning their journey as investor franchise owners, Carson and Michael have found a perfect match in Huddle House. The concept’s values well aligned with their dedication to serving those living in their hometown of Decatur. As the area is a hub for agriculture and The Midwest Inland Port, the concept’s all-day breakfast offerings fill the community’s need for an all-day restaurant spot. Currently, a property located near East Hospitality Lane is Northeastern Decatur is a front-runner for the forthcoming ground-up location.
“As we began our journey into franchise ownership, Jessica and I felt well supported by the Huddle House team. They were supportive of our efforts to grow our business interests in Decatur,” says Chazaray Carson, new Huddle House franchisee. “We are very excited to bring Huddle House to our hometown. The restaurant’s twenty-four-hour breakfast offerings and filling meals are a perfect fit for families who live in the area and for those working in jobs all around the clock. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Huddle House, while bringing Decatur a new place to gather and enjoy togetherness in the community.”
Based in Atlanta, the brand currently has more than 300 locations open or in development. Huddle House has earned a strong following across the country amongst multi-unit franchise operators due to its four-day part revenue stream and access to the $285 billion breakfast segment. In addition, the concept offers flexible formats for operators to develop from a choice of inline, endcap, conversion and ground up designs all equipped for off-premise dining.
“We are so lucky to be entering the community of Decatur with Jessica and Chazaray as our partners and guides. Their local knowledge and commitment to the Huddle House brand make them an ideal team to lead the way as we enter this thriving area,” says Peter Ortiz, chief development officer of Huddle House and Perkins Restaurant & Bakery “The addition of the upcoming restaurant in Decatur will help our concept gain a stronger foothold in the Midwest. We are confident that this duo’s dedication to the brand and strong interpersonal skills will help them achieve success in the restaurant industry.”
Huddle House’s franchise concept is backed by a strong leadership team and is designed to attract entrepreneurs with a proven track record in the restaurant business, a close connection to their community and an interest in multi-unit ownership. In addition, the brand is looking to expand in targeted markets throughout Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi.
