HotSchedules, which features web-based products that enable restaurants and other hospitality-related businesses to lower labor costs and streamline the employee-scheduling process, has partnered with California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) to provide solutions that improve communication and maximize productivity for the growing restaurant chain’s domestic locations, which total more than 200.
Beginning in July 2011, HotSchedules rolled out its integrated Workforce and Digital Logbook solutions at California Pizza Kitchen restaurants, completing the implementation in late 2011, and allowing all locations to better manage and schedule their labor force, control costs, and communicate more easily with employees.
In addition to helping California Pizza Kitchen manage its labor force more efficiently, the HotSchedules’ suite of solutions will enable CPK to more accurately forecast sales and project labor needed in more than 200 locations.
Moving forward, HotSchedules’ Workforce and Digital Logbook solutions will be implemented at every California Pizza Kitchen restaurant as the company continues to grow.
