Hooters of America, LLC, today announced it is dishing out a new summer menu designed to honor its heritage as the classic beach joint established in Clearwater, Florida. The “Back to the Beach” menu will include favorite seafood dishes such as blackened mahi sandwich, Cajun shrimp, drunken shrimp, mussels, and snow crab legs.

“Honoring the Hooters heritage is important as we celebrate our 30th anniversary as one of the most successful casual dining restaurants in the world,” says Dave Henninger, chief marketing officer, Hooters of America. “The ‘Back to the Beach’ menu pays tribute to our roots as a fun beach joint while also expanding our menu to offer customers delicious, seasonal seafood options, perfect for the summer months.”

The back to the beach promotions are a continuation of the Step Into Awesome campaign.  Guests are invited to share photos of their seafood dishes via Twitter and Instagram with a #StepIntoAwesome hashtag. All of those posts are populated into the Step Into Awesome website, www.stepintoawesome.com.

Items from the “Back to the Beach” menu are of the highest quality and are seasoned and served in accordance to the excellent standards Hooters has come to be known for. The blackened mahi sandwich features a center cut mahi blackened and seared to perfection with house made coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, and a spicy remoulad on a brioche bun. The Cajun shrimp dish includes steamed shrimp with a spicy blend of Creole flavor. Our drunken shrimp and mussels are served with a tasty blend of butter, garlic and lemon, with slices of Texas toast to soak up all the goodness. Guests may enjoy a pound of our snow crab legs, imported fresh from the icy waters of Alaska.

The “Back to the Beach” menu is available for a limited time at each of the more than 355 Hooters restaurant locations across the United States.
