ParTech Inc., a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation, today announced that the HOLDER Group has chosen PAR to be their sole provider of Point-of-Sale Systems.

The HOLDER Group is a dynamic company headquartered in Marcq-en-Baroeul, France, totaling over 450 retail outlets throughout the world, grouped under three major brands–Paul, Saint Preux, and Laduree. Their rapid growth led management to review its IT policy in 2006 and initiate a search for a restaurant management system that would effectively support their expansion plans. HOLDER required a flexible, intelligent system, but most importantly, the ability to partner with an international provider to implement and support the technology wherever HOLDER intended to grow. HOLDER expansion plans include the opening of new stores in the U.S. and the Asia/Pacific rim.

PAR’s Global Infrastructure and ability to provide total systems integration of hardware, software, and service solutions convinced HOLDER’s Management to select PAR.

PAR’s supported solution allows the company to operate its point-of-sale terminals off a unique central server. This allows HOLDER exceptional visibility into their operations, but more importantly, supports their expansion through more efficient operations and a significantly shortened deployment time globally.

“The Holder Group is very pleased to have formed a strong relationship with PAR as our Solutions Provider for our restaurants. PAR’s distinctive global position will enable Holder Group to maintain a singular system in all our operations,” says Christian Pacan, IT director for the Holder Group.

“We are pleased to include the HOLDER Group to our growing list of international customers. This selection exemplifies the opportunities available within our International markets. We will continue to market aggressively in Europe as we recognize the favorable market conditions for our products and solutions,” comments Greg Cortese, CEO and president of ParTech Inc. “PAR’s strength continues to be technology innovation, our long-term relationships with customers, and our customer service and support over the life of our systems. These strengths will continue to allow us to win new business.”

ParTech International has 15 worldwide offices in Latin America, Europe and Africa, Middle East, China, and Asia Pacific.
