Hershey Foodservice has launched a new mobile-friendly website with hundreds of recipes featuring Hershey branded ingredients and menu ideas to help operators activate current trends in their restaurants.
Studies show that 78 percent of restaurant operators use a smartphone for business purposes. The new Hershey Foodservice website is designed for instant access. Featuring a database of recipes that can be filtered by product or menu application, the site also includes convenient links to a sales portal and a broker locator.
Hershey Foodservice offers trusted brands including HERSHEY’S, REESE’S, HEATH and more. 78 percent of consumers are very likely to try a dessert with Hershey-branded ingredients including toppings, syrups and chips. 45 percent of consumers are willing to pay more for a dessert made with Hershey-branded ingredients and 77 percent associate desserts made with Hershey-branded ingredients as higher quality.
A bonus is access to special promotions and operator rebates. Operators can get up to $500 back on Hershey brand throughout the year. Current programs target added savings on toppings, specialty coffee products and confections—grab’n go snacks.
