Hash House Commits to Serving Safest Choice Eggs


Hash House A Go Go has committed to exclusively using Davidson’s Safest Choice pasteurized eggs when making its twisted farm food.

Safest Choice eggs from National Pasteurized Eggs (NPE) are supplied to one Reno, Nevada, and four Las Vegas Hash House locations and are now proudly featured on the menu of its new Chicago location that opened on July 24, 2012.

Hash House has been serving farm-fresh food with a funky, modern twist for 12 years and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner at its six locations.

Known for its creative menu, oversized portions, and unique presentations, Hash House is also committed to food safety.

NPE is excited to be a supplier partner as Hash House continues to expand. With its newest location now open, Hash House will be serving more than 5 million Safest Choice eggs annually. That's 100,000 times a week that Hash House serves safe eggs to its guests.

Safest Choice eggs are a mainstay in foodservice institutions since being introduced in 2003.

Safest Choice eggs are pasteurized in an all-natural warm water bath to destroy salmonella and other bacteria. This process provides superior egg safety and ensures the taste, nutrition, and high quality of a fresh shell egg, which is essential when serving soft-cooked egg dishes such as sunny-side-up or over-easy, or sauces such as hollandaise.

Home cooks can find Safest Choice eggs at an increasing number of leading retail chains and independent grocers across the country.
